Most underfloor heating systems
use one or more distribution manifolds.
A manifold is a central distribution point where warm water is pumped
from boiler, into the flow section of the manifold, around the various
circuits of underfloor heating pipe, back into the return section
of the manifold and then back to the boiler. In the process, the
warm water loses heat into the floor structure which then warms
the room.

The number of circuits
on the manifold is determined by the floor area to be heated, the
size and spacing of the pipe used, the required heat output and
the circuit lengths used.
Depending on the total water flow required, we
offer 2 diameters of manifold – 1” and 1 ¼”.
These manifolds use one-piece extruded brass tube, fitted with easily
adjustable balancing valves and visual flowmeters. |
