security stainless steel pipe systems for use with heating, hot
and cold water services, chilled water and other suitable fluids
including high hazard categories.
Flexwell® pipes feature a special steel casing
to provide security against damage in the most demanding circumstances.
Flexwell ® is suitable for installation under roads, railway
lines and even airport runways. |

The system is designed typically for systems
using medium to high temperature water and is available in sizes
from 25mm to 150mm (1” to 6” Bsp). Due to the construction
of the pipe they are equally suitable for a whole range of fluids,
which require the utmost security to both contain the fluid and
provide protection against potential leaks to the environment. The
combination of a standard X5 CrNi 18/9 stainless steel pipe, a layer
of polyurethane insulation encased within a corrugated steel casing
which in itself is encased within a special double polyethylene
layer separated with a layer of bitumen ensures that Flexwell®
pipes provide the most secure pipe system available. |

The Flexwell® system comes complete with leak detection wires
fitted along the entire length of every coil. When connected to
suitable alarm and monitoring equipment these wires can offer
automatic detection of any damage to the outer polyurethane casing
or inner pipe and detail the position of the leak to within 1
metre enabling precise excavation if a repair is necessary.
